Joy to the World - A New Challenge at 613 Avenue Create

First, I would like to wish all of my FB Family and Blog Land Family a very Happy Mother's Day and thus, I have created a Christmas card just especially for the occasion!!!

It's a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create always anything goes with Let's Celebrate!!!!!! How's that for easy peasy???

The fabulous sponsors are
My Whimsical Little World
Toadstool Printables
Poppyseed Graphics

Ok, I know it's Mother's Day but for my project today, I have created what I think a very clean, simple and elegant Christmas card using Toadstool Printables Christmas Border with Cardinal Bird and Holly:

my dear friend, Rosie's, mother loved cardinals and I can remember every year at Christmas we would be on the look-out for anything with cardinals for  her mother - Rosie, this card is in memory of your mother

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • red Recollection cardstock size A2 card with Recollection Christmas Stack as the background
  • image was colored using Prisma Colored Pencils, Prisma Markers with gel pen and Stickles accents, fussy cut around the edges which were then chalked
  • holly is from The Paper Studio Stickables Christmas Holly
  • sentiment, "Joy to the world", had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC and chalked around the edges with rounded corners and of course some Stickles
  • inside sentiment, "Merry Christmas", is also from The Paper Studio Stickables Christmas Holly with additional holly mounted on matching background paper to the front

I thank you for stopping by and visiting today. Don't forget to enter your project at 613 Avenue CreateI can't wait to see your creations!

  1. What a nice thought to dedicate your cardinal to Rosie's Mom! I like the glitter on the branches and berries - looks like a light dusting of snow!
